HORSES TRAINING WELL AT LATONIA. Cincinnati, O., September 7. There are about seventy horses at Latonia at present, and all but a few of these will lie shipped to Lexington within the next week. The horses that .rested at Latonia during the summer are all in good condition. Henry McDaniel has King Broomstick moving along In good style and his crack colt, Amon, is also doing well. Dclaney, which was in good form at the spring meeting, has not been doing so well. He bled in a workout recently and did the snmo tiling after a gallop, but appears to be rounding to again. Hugh McCarrcn has his string out quite often, and A. J. Gorey is busy with Old Honesty and Old Chum. Luke Le Blondes pair, Sold Mine and American Girl, will be ready for the races when Lexington opens. The latter lias been going soundly aud Gold Mine lias all of her speed. They were transferred to Lexington today. Gene Lutz is pointing Messenger Boy for the Endurance Stakes here and at Louisville. The colt has recovered entirely from his sickness.
