Improved weather conditions drew an increased attendance despite the fact that a most ordinary program was the offering. Track conditions again made the task of picking winners a most difficult one, and only one favorite succeeded in getting down in front. The success of outsiders afforded the layers one of the most profitable days of the meeting. Secretary Gemmell joined the ranks of tho owners today by purchasing from W. 15. Carson the Oily Annie Nelson, which ran in the name of the Helena Stable in the last race. Jockey A.
