WHITE WOOL WINS A HANDICAP. Spokane, Wash, September 13. White Wool, a Lake City Derby candidate, won the mile and an eighth handicap" at Coeur dAIene today, defeating Dick Raker, another eligible for the same stake, in 9 bundv fashion. Reserved behind the early pace, ho picked np tin; leaders by degrees and, taking the lead a furlong from the finish, held Dick Baker pafe at the end.
