RACING GOSSIP FROM THE EAST. New York, September 13. James Blute has arrived at Gravosend with the W. P. Austin horses from Canada. There are five in the lot and all look in good condition after racing all summer on the Canadian tracks and last winter in Jacksonville. They will be given a much-needed rest of a month or so and then will be taken up and prepared for fall and winter racing at Pimlico and Havana. The stable hag been weakened by the loss of the fast sprinter, Antenor, which cracked an ankle nud had to be destroyed. The string now include Kormak, Arany, Judge Monck, Mindinette and Walter Scott. Richard Miller has arrived from Windsor with two horses. He Intends to remain at Gravesend until the Pimlico fall meeting. The Monahan horses, which Thomas Welsh handled last season, Textile, Paton and Rockiield, will likelv be turned over to Jack Goldslorough, as Mr. Welsh has sent word to his men and boys to leave Jor France this week. The horses are within a few weeks of racing form, especially Textile, which has Imvii getting regular moves every now and then through the summer. Max Hirsch took a run down to Sheepshead Bay to see S. C. Ilildreth about buying some co!ts and after an hours talk came away with the two-year-old colt Dalmalu, by Ethellvert Rose Lady, and the two-year-old. War Horn, which has never started. Mars Cassldy. the well-known starter, has disposed of his large house on the Neck Road. Graven end, to John Curruu, business partner of Archie ZImmer. R. W. Walden has shipped Royal Meteor to his Stable af PJwllco,
