EDDIE MOTT ran well and made a game finish. DAUEINGTON began slowly and closed a great gap. FIGENT was sore and unable to keep up early, but was making up ground in .the stretch. GRAMERCY ran forwardly throughout, but could not get up. DARGIN dwelt at the start and closed a big gap. TOMMY McGEE finished well, but is a hard horse to ride and his jockey could not do him justice. LAURA CLAY showed speed. BINOCULAR set the early pace, but quit badly.
