SADIE SHAPIRO set the pace and showed a tine turn of speed hi the going, but tired badly in the last furlong. FLAMMA closed a big gap and finished with a great burst of speed. MAD RIVER ran well. REY showed speed, but tired. AUTO MAID ran away a half mile when going to the post. THIRTY FORTY ran poorly in the going. OWANUX outbroke his opponents and was rated along under restraint for Hie first half and. after being passed by ALDRIAN. rallied and, coming again in the stretch drive, won going away. ALDRIAN moved mi witli a rush after entering the homestretch into a good lead, but linallv tired under punishment. STAR CHARTER was overweighted and ran gamely, but could never get up.
