DICK BAKER WINS A HANDICAP. Spokane, Wash., September 20. Dick Baker, ridden by jockev Hopkins, won the Post Falls Handicap at one mile and an eighth at Coeur dAlene today, defeating Ocean Queen and Fred Mulholland in a drive that lasted for over a furlong. He incidentally created a new track record by running the distance ju 1:51J. Jockey Kedcris had the misfortune to get a nasty fall while riding Massa in the third race. His inount fell in going around the first turn and Kederis had his leg broken above the ankle. Tippy, winner of the second race, was "bid up from 00 to 1911.sh00 by J. Krause and was bid iu. Jockevfv Hopkins and Forsyth were suspended for three days by the starter for disobedience at the post in the first race.
