The stallion, Martin Doyle, recently presented to the Canadian National Bureau of Breeding, is located at Ennisclatre, Ont., and Is assured of good patronage. A moving picture concern is planning to obtain films of the Kentucky Endurance Stakes race at Churchill Downs next Saturday, to be displayed throughout the country. Among the horses that C. T. McDowell will take tc Laurel to race are three belonging to J. E. Madden that summered at Saratoga ami were recently relumed to Hamburg Place. J. W. Frye has sothe half dozen yearlings at Louisville that he will race during the winter. They are by Cesarion and Ort Wells, and they Include a good looking brother to A. J. Small. The management at Couer dAlene has warned away a tipster named John Hodge for making impossible promises to bis clients, and has given warning to all so-called tipsters and touts that their presence at the new track will not be tolerated. A. W. Booker has arrived at Churchill Downs with the racing string of Alderman Stanley Kunz of Chicago, including Gilpin, Louis Roil,- Dr. Burch, C. W. Hurt, Rhasneth, Floral Queen, Duke of Palatine, Chenault. Sig Levy, Black Minster and Duchess of Palatine. Former jockey A. W. Booker, who piloted Colonial Girl to victory in the 850,000 Worlds Fair Handicap at St. Louis, in 1U04, is in charge of the Kunz stable. Disqualification for interference with the horse between him and the rail Is always threatening Froglegs. He is ridden with a spur on his jockeys left heel and a burr on the cheek-piece of his bit for the purpose of keeping him straight, but they are usually ineffective. Whether there is a horse inside or not he steadily bores over to the rail, in spite of his rider. At Montreal he knocked down Yorkshire Hoy by crowding right at the linish, and at Windsor, Hamilton and Toronto he was In trouble for the same reason.
