MOOXItAKER began slowly, but gained steadily and was driving hard at the end to out-ftay CAPER SAUCE. The latter closed. a big gap and finished with a rush. YOUNG MORPHEUS made the running all the way, out jumped BROADSWORD and gained a couple of lengths at every fence. BROADSWORD showed the most speed when on the flat, but blundered at several of the jumps. ST. BENITA lacked speed. HIS REVERENCE fell at the second fence. NAUSHON ran under stout restraint for the first six furlongs and was thou taken to the outside on the stretch turn and, coming on fast, drew away easily in the homestretch. BOB R. ran into the lead on the last turn, but tired when he came to the stretch drive. Cliff Edge ran gamely, but seemed handicapped by the going. BUSY showed speed, but tired. ALDEBARAX was crowded back in the early running and forced to work his way up on the outside, but came fast through the homestretch and won going away. PEXOBSCOT, after being under restraint forvthe first half mile, moved up with a rush and had his opponents soundly beaten at the last furlong post, but was pulled up to let bis stable companion win. PRESUMPTION ran well and saved ground when entering the homestretch, but tired when it came to the final drive and mav have been short. GARTH liuished fast. FROGLEGS Was outpaced, but ran gamely. GILD went to his knees when landing at the tenth fence and lost about ten lengths by the mishap, then responded gamely to punishment in the final drive. FLYING YANKEE began slowly and was shuflled back, then closed a big gap imo a fast going second and is worth remembering. MISSION ran well, but was tiring and driving bard at the end to outstay ROD AND GUN. The latter was always prominent and finished gamely. JAMES DOCKERY closed a big gap and so did CLOUD CHIEF. TROY AVEIGHT ran a good race, but was much used in forcing and setting the pace and tired when it came to the final drive. EI KECK rf.n forwardly throughout, but was tiring at the finish.
