WOODLANDS MARES SENT TO AUSTRALIA. Following the fashion of other breeders in sending their thoroughbreds abroad for sale, Barney Schreiber recently sent a carefully selected draft with the big baud sent there by Mr. Whcatcroft. There in good time . they will pass under the auctioneers hammer , at Sidney. It is to be noped that they will bring further fame to Woodlands Stud by the excellence of their produce in their new and far away home in the southern hemisphere. Mr. Schreibcrs consignment is one of sixteen mares of which three are by bis great sire Sain and one is by the Australiau-bred sire DareMn. Other fashionable and successful sires represented are Goldfinch, Star Ruby, Hamburg, Kingston, St. Felix. St. Blaise, Sir Walter, Yankee, Orsini, Order, Golden Garter and Juvenile. The best blood of England and the United States is offered here and Australian breeders cannot go amiss in purchasing any of them. The list exported by Mr. Schreiber Is as follows: Aunt Susan, bay mare, by Hamburg Sister Mary. This is a sister to the good mare Top Note. Colleen Bawn, brown mare, by Kingston Ben Mc-Chree. This is a half sister to Cap and Bells, which won the Epsom Oaks. Dolabella, bay mare, by Order Darebelle. This is a great individual, and comes from a great family of winneis. Ellis Finch, gray mare, by Goldfinch Finalis. Exquisite, bay mare, by Yankee Lady Agnes. This mare comes from a great producing family. Garvassa, chestnut mare, by Golden Garter Ba-vassa. Lingerie, bay mare, by Juvenile Chemise. This mare is tho dam of the good winner Father Stafford and a half sister to Gibraltar. Maggie Felix, chestnut mare, by St. Felix True Blue. This mare won a great many good races. My Lady Francis, bay mare, by Sain Liberty Star. Paulina, bay mare, by Orsini Fannie Louise. This mare is a half sister to live good winners. Sain Anna, brown mare, by Sain St. Anna. St. Rose, black mare, by St. Blaise Faust Roue. Tills mare is the dam of tho good race horse Tony Faust. Subway, bay mare; by Darobin Annie Lewis. This is a groat individual and good producer. Testimony, bay mare, by Sain Pride. Testimony was a winner of a number of good races, but met with an accident early. Tootsy Mack, bay mare by Sir Walter Katy of the West. This mare is half sister to the great race horse Heriuis. Vista, bay mare, by Star Ruby Linda Vista. This is a good looking mare and sister to Cairngorm.
