EYVANA TUMBO began quickly and held an easy lead to the last furlong, then had to go to a drive to outstay FUTURITY. The latter disposed of TURBINE on the stretch turn and finished fast and gamely. SURFEIT came fast in the stretch and got up for third place in the last stride. TURBINE tired after running in nearest pursuit to the stretch. The others were badly outpaced. The latter ran in closest pursuit and had no trouble in disposing of IDLE MICHAEL for second place. IDLE MICHAEL only ran fairly well, but easily outstayed BELFAST. SOTEMIA ran forwardly and, staying well, wore the others down and easily disposed of BOUNDER in the final drive. BOUNDER followed the winner closely, but could never get up and tired Ju the stretch. OWANUX ran well lor a mile and came again at the finish. ALDRIAN and JOE KENYON ran prominentlv for a mile and a half, then tired. . NADZU finished gamely.
