FORCE was dropped in behind ARDRI and saved under restraint until well around the far turn, then dashed to the li-ont ami drew away into an easy lead in the last furlong. FEATHER DUSTER begau slowly, but worked his way up on the outside and, closing a big gap, finished with a rush. ARDRI, probably short, tired after going live furlongs in the lead, but held on gamely to the end. SCARLET PIMPERNEL ran well to the stretVh. IIARVEV F. quit after running forwardly for five furlongs. The others ran poorly. Overweights Arbutus, 5 pounds. RINGMASTER was taken under stoilt restraint for the lirst turn of the field, then responded gamely when called on and outstayed PRINCE HAMPTON in the final drive. The latter ran iu close pursuit of the pacemakers all the way and made a fast and resolute finish. DR. HEARD ran well and was bumped a couple ot times aud repeatedly cut off. ALTAMAIIA, a good mud runner, ran In closest pursuit of th pacemakers all the way. BOUNDER ran well and easily disposed of HOFFMAN in the last quarter.
