RAG-MAX ran well and wore the tiriug MEXOANA down and beat her in the final stride. The latter was much used in following the winner in closest pursuit and was tiring at the finish. CHRYSEIS was bumped about in the early running and closed a big gap into a fast going second. WILDWEEI. a quick beginner and speedy, ran iuto a long lead quickly and kept it to the stretch, then tired badly. K., suddenly improved and showing much speed from the start, raced FORT WORTH into defeat In the first half and, taking the lead, easily withstood ALL REDS challenge. The latter was hard ridden from the start and gamely outstayed FORT WORTH in the final drive. FORT WORTH set a fast early pace, but fired and Just lasted long enough to outstay MINDINETTE for third place. The latter ran in improving form and finished fast. BEAUCOUP ran under restraint for the first half mile and made the pace to the last furlong, then quit when his rider went to the whip. HELEXE ran a good race and was casilv best of the others today. OUTLAN was hard ridden for the entire race and swerved over to the inside at the furlong post aiid cut NADZU off.
