ZIM ran will in the going and was away forwardly, ran close up to the stretch, then wore SIR GILES down and won easing up. PIERRE DUMAS came from a long way back in the stretch and finished gamely. SIR GILES set the pace from the start, but tired fast in the stretch. LORD DUNBAR ran well nnd was in the worst going most of the way. INCITER quit after running forwardly for u half. JOHN GRIFFIN II was favored by the going and, showing the most speed, won all the way, but tired and just lasted long enough to win. TOISON IVOR ran well and was gaining in the stretch and but for swerving in tjie last furlong would have won. HORICON labored in the going, but ran gamely throughout. AUTOMATIC finished fast. DUQUESNE showed the most early speed, but appeared done for in the last furlong, only to come again and take second place hi the final stride. CAMEL rau well and appeared the v inner in the last furlong, but tired slightly near the end. LOVE WATCHES had no mishaps. THEO COOK showed early speed, but quit badly.
