THREE LINKS, probably benefited by the improved going, moved into the lead at once and giimely showed tlic way for the entire race. CHEER UP saved ground on the stretch turn and finished gamely. IltlNCM CHAP tired after running in closest pursuit to the stretch. ACGUIN closed a gap and was going fast at tho end. BOOBY" held on well. HAMILTON suffered from interference early and finished fast. WORKING LAD quit. ETHEL SAMSON ran well to the stretch. Scratched 99252 MeCHntock, 102. WINNING WIDOW followed JOHN GRIFFFIN II. closely to the last furlong, where she drew quickly out to win going away. MERRICK began slowly and was taken wide, but finished with a rush. JOHN GRIFFIN II. set a fast pace to the stretch and tired in the last furlong. CAMEL finished close up. SIR ALVESCOT ran n good half and quit. SWARTS HILL showed earlv speed. TOM RIGREE closed a gap and was going fast at the end. EDDA, from a slow beginning, ran a game race and appeared to some to have gotten up for second place.
