JAMES DOCKERY, an extra good mud runner, drew away into a decisive lead whilo rounding the far turn and won eaying up. BE, always close up, came through on the inside in the stretch and finished gamely. CAMELLIA ran well to the stretch and tired when it came to a hard drive. WILD WEED ran away a mile before the start. ETON BLUE was coughing while in the paddock nnd was badly outpaced, but finished resolutely. Overweights Cloak. 2 pounds. REY set tlie early pace, but dropped back when straightened out on the backstreteh and was saved behind the leaders to the homestretch, then came to the outside and, finishing with a rush, won drawing clear. GIFT ran well and made a game challenge at the furlong post, but was cut off by the winner in the last sixteenth, wliero ho swerved over to the inside. MAD RIVER was much used in racing with DOROTnY T. and tired in tho final drive. MISS JOE finished close up. DOROTHY T. tired after making the pace to the last furlong. TEATHER DUSTER drew away into a long lead on the backstreteh and was under a pull at the end; FAIR MISS was cut off a couple of times when attempting to squeeze through on tho inside, but finished well and outgamcd KAUFMAN for second place. The latter was cut off on the first turn and dropped back, but came again resolutely. GOLCONDA was tramped against the inside fence several times by KAUFMAN after entering the stretch. IVABEL set tho early pace, but tired and did not run to her true form. LOCIIIEL lacked speed and ran a poor race. ALL RED tired badly. Scratched 992022Flamma, 98.
