CHARLESTON RACING STAKES VALUABLE. The Charleston Fair and Racing Associations offering- of twenty stake races to be run during the course of the approaching Charleston meeting dignifies it in the eyes of owners and enhances its clalmg to appreciative patronage. There are not lacking Indications that the Charleston meeting is likely to be as strikingly successful as was that at Jacksonville last winter. Charleston is blessed with mild winter weather and many northerners attracted by the racing will linger in its hotels and discover that they have lost little in the way of comfort in cutting short their accustomed winter trip to Florida.
