FLAMMA began slowly and was badly outrun for the first quarter, but moved up with a rush while rounding the far turn and, slipping through on the inside In the stretch, finished fast and won drawing cl.-ar. ISIDORA showed the most speed for three furlongs at a fast pace, then tired, but was probably :-bort and should be improved by this race. SURFEIT ran a good race, but tired after getting to ISIDORA. LADY MoGEE followed the leaders, but close up, until straightened out in the homestretch, then closed up with a good burst of speed and won going away. HENOTIC showed much the most speed for a half mile, then tired, but finished gamely. SADIE SHAPIRO ran in closest pursuit of the early pacemaker to the stretch, then tired and just lasted long enough to outstay KITTERY. The latter was messed almut In the running and will do better. PONAU was taken back and saved while rounding the far turn and responded with great speed when called on, wore the leaders down and won going away. SENECA was much used in racing KING AVONDALE into defeat and tired in the final strides of a good race. KING AVONDALE set the pace to the stretch and tired. LOVE WATCHES finished with a rush on the outside and almost got up for third place. ROSE QUEEN and LADY IRMA showed speed, but tired in the stretch. Scratched 0956SLucille R., 109. SUPERSTITION, close up from the start, slipped through on the inside on the turn out of the lmckstretch and shook off HOMECREST in the last furlong, but was tiring at the end. JACQUELINA closed a big gap and was cut off when she attempted to Come through on the inside on the stretch turn and then taken to the outside and finished with a rush. ASPIRIN ran well, but tired in the final drive. CHESTER KIUM lacked speed and ran as if short. HOMECREST set a fast pace and ran well to the stretch. HOFFMAN showed speed, but quit.
