SLIM PRINCESS closed a gap and finished fast and gaining. CLOAK tired after setting the pace fast for a half mile. TAUOMA showed Speed early, but was crowded against the fence and pulled up. The latter began slowly, but worked his way up on the outside and, closing a big gap, finished with a rush. RALEIGH P. D. was thrown against the fence at the start and was pulled up.
