TUSTER, off forwardly, ran in close up contention until straightened out in the homestretch, then finished Tast and resolutely and was going away at the end. FORT WORTH, a quick beginner and good mud runner, held the others safe and set the pace for six furlongs, then retired. CORINTH ran well and easily disposed of HANDRUNNING, but could never get to the leaders. RINDA was pocketed on the inside ail the way. HELEN SCOTT finished well. COM-I"fi COON showed great speed in the going and held the others safe all the way. SILAS GRUMP shook T CAMELLIA in the last furlong and finished gamely, but was unable to get to the leader. DAINGER-FIELD was rated along at the same pace all the way and made a resolute finish. CAMELLIA cnt across in front at the start and Interfered with BE and MISS JOE, then ran prominently to the stretch and tired. BE finished well. Overweights Miss Joe. 2 pounds. SAGER ran under restraint for six furlongs and made a menacing effort after entering the homestretch, but tired in the final strides. BEAUCOUP was tiring at the end after running well for the first three-quarters. The others were always outpaced. The latter showed much early speed and held a long lead to the stretch, bat tired after going five furlongs. SURFEIT was a forward contender from the start, but tired in the stretch drive. GARRY met with repeated Interference. SPRING BOARD ran gamely, but failed to concede the weight. SHERWOOD ran well and was on the outside of the leaders all the way, but tired in the last sixteenth and finished driving hard to outstay BABY WOLF. The latter closed a gap and finished with a rush. BEN LOYAL runs his best races over a sloppy track and the going was too stiff for him today. EAGLE BIRD set a fast pace to the stretch and tired In the final drive. RICHARD REED ran poorly. The latter closed a gap and, finishing with a rush, would have won in another stride. HARVEY F. ran well, but was tiring in the final drive. LITTLE EARL closed a big gap Into a close up fourth.
