CAPTAIN PRES GRAVE VICTIM OF ACCIDENT. Salisbury, Md., December 11. Capt. W- F. Pres-grave, manager and trainer of Thomas Clydes racing stable, met with a serious and painful accident bore. While inspecting some pumping machinery at the farm, his hand liecame entagled in the cogwheels and before it could be extracted, it was badly mangled. The amputation of his thumb from his left hand was neccsitatcd. His presence of mind in throwing off the power saved Captain Presgrave his arm.
