NOTES OF THE TURF. John J. Rvan, a former plunger, is in a serious condition at his Cincinnati homo as the result of injuries received in a wreck on the New York Central Line near Lagrange, O. He is suffering with a badly crushed right foot and injuries to his back and "shoulders, as well as a badly lacerated hand. Physicians express the fear that amputation of the right leg may be necessary.
