CHANGE IN PROMINENT CANADIAN STABLE. Hamilton. Ont.. January 16. The iianie of the Valley Tarni Stable will not appear in this years lining lists, but thai does not mean that the brawn and yellow jacket will not lie seen. On the con trary. there will be two establishments, nistiad of one. representing the tun interests of the family. The Valley Perm Stabb has been carried on in that name Jointly by Col. John s. Hendrie of this city, and his brother George M. Hendrie of Windsor. Bach is now to race in hbt own name, and the colors will naturally go to Colonel Uendric, who will rise particular attention to the home-bred horses. They are now al the Valley Farm, and will be trained br Fd Whyte who seat to ihe jh.si Martin.is and the Plate winners Batter Scotch and Lyddite for the late Mr. Hendrie. He will take charge February I. It is understood thai George M. Hendrles borscn will be trained by John Walters, who formerly trained lor his uncle, George Hendrie, of Detroit.
