The fourth race resulted in a duel between Frank II. Hogan and Light Knight. Tic pair ran like a team for a furlong, and Frank G. Hogan scored by .1 neck. Toe stewards, after probing deeply into the of jockey Benny, who was suspended pending fin ther investigation of his riding of Bride of Liaaaoc , ;oday made the suspension permanent.
