won the Nursery Plate the feature of todays program at the Hamilton track Rock View was ridden by Tommy McTaggart led from the rise of the barrier and won easily by three lengths The Schorr colt Lcochares came in for strong support many of the handicappers figuring his chances as being better than those of the IJjl mont youngster Whatever chance Lcochares had was ruined when he was sharply cut off at the ImIC mile post as McCahey attempted to squeeze through along the inner rail It was a foolish move on tho riders part as he did not appear to have a possible chance of getting through when he made the move moveFavorites Favorites won four of the races two of them being at oddson McTaggart had the mount on two of the winning choices Rock View and Mar jorie A Steam Uoat another oddson choice was beaten through incompetent riding Connolly who had the mount took the horse back after leaving the post hi a forward position and when he made Ids move he went to the outside At the
