AMERICAN WINNINGS IN AUSTRALIA. Lexington. Ky.. January 14. — Mr. A. Robertson, of MentOUC, Australia, writes as follows, under date of December 13, to Messrs. Walker ,v Treaev: "Just a few lines to let you know I am still in the land of the living, and my thoughts -ometiiues turn to Ken-tucky. The thoroughbred yearlings thai I got from ton and brought down in the tirt shipment are inak-lag good. We won with two of them this week. Other winners are: Dewbery, by Oddfellow— Robos: Vintinee, by oddfellow — Virginia I*oe- Petronelle by oddfellow — Pepita; Oddmce, by Oddfellow— Babmne. These Allies have probably won ten or more races. V.-tcrdav are won with I plight, a fitly bv Standing Reality, sho K speedy. The bunch of youngsters I vol from John F. Madden last rear have just gone int.- work, and I hope to give vol; a goad report of them later. The three stallions are all doing full Seasons. A few week- ago I landed here .1 ship meiil from England. Dr. Leach also hmded a few ninvs. st of which he has sold. Racing is juM booming in this country."
