Tenn., has booked sic mares to Cydadcs, by Cyllene, the leading stallion of England. The chestnut colt by Meelick— Floreal. which Fletcher Driver recently sold to J. B. Lowe has taken up Miss Thorpe from John D. Carr s farm near Lexington, where she has been running out since the Latonia meeting. She looks well. Secretary Garrett D. Wilson of the Kentucky Association thinks that the total eligihles to- the 19JS Breeders Futurity will reach eighty, which will represent a high water mark for the third pavment. Last years Futurity had seventy-five third pavments It is estimated that with twelve starters the Futurity of l!tl3 will be worth ,530. Its highest value heretofore has been ,848.
