ARRANGING PIPING ROCK DETAILS DETAILSNew New York April 21 Frank J Bryan has an ¬ nounced the conditions for the twoyearold sub ¬ scription races to be run during the spring meet ¬ ing which will be held June 5 5 and 7 at Piping Rock RockThere There will be six of these races in all four during the spring meeting and two in the autumn In these events almost uO000 will be distributed in prizes The conditions for the four races to be held first are as follows followsFirst First Day Thursday June 5 Third race Piping Rock Subscription Race Elimination Trial First Division For twoyearolds owned by subscribers and distributed at the allotment held November 21 1012 Starters to be drawn by lot Saturday May 21 and the first three at the finish iu this race to be eligible for the final which will be run Monday June 1U3 Purse 2500 of which 500 to the second horse and oOO to the third Colts to carry 122 pounds fillies and geldings to carry 110 pounds Aliout four furlongs furlongsFirst First Day Thursday June 5 Fifth Race Piping Rock Subscription Race Elimination trial Second division For twoyearolds owned by subscribers and distributed at the allotment held November 21 1012 Starters to be drawn by lot Saturday May 24 and the first three at the finish in this race to be eligible for the final which will be rim Monday June 0 1013 Purse 2500 of which S500 to the second horse and 800 to the third Colts to carry 122 pounds fillies and geldings to carry 110 pounds About four furlongs furlongsSecond Second Day Saturday June 7 Fourth race Piping Rock Subscription Race Consolation For twoyear olds owned by subscribers and distributed at the allotment held November 24 1012 that were not placed in either of the two Elimination Trials run Thursday June 5 Purse 2500 of which 500 to the second horse and aOO to the third Colts to carry 122 pounds fillies and geldings to carry 110 pounds furlongsThird Alwut four furlongs Third Day Monday June 0 Fourth race Piping Rock Subscription Race Final For twoyearolds owned by subscribers and distributed at tlie allot ¬ ment held November 24 1012 that were officially placed in the two Elimination Trials run on Tiiiirs day June 5 ltlJ Purse 10000 ot which 2 iOO to the second horse and 1000 to the third Colts to carry 122 pounds fillies and geldings to carry 110 pounds About five furlongs furlongsStarters Starters for tlie two preliminary trials to be run on Juno 5 as above stated must be named on or before May l Entry blanks will be mailed to subscribers a few days prior to that date dateThe The drawing for the two elimination trials will take place under the supervision of the committee on Saturday May 24 The result will be announced immediately so that owners may make final arrange ¬ ments for riders ridersOf Of the two remaining races which are to be run during the fall meeting one will be at six furlongs for a purse of 5000 and the other at a mile for which the purse will be about 7500 All of the subscription twoyearolds will be eligible for these two races without regard to the outcome of the preliminary trials held in the spring springWhile While it is expected that a sufficient number of riders will be on hand for all of the twoyearolds that qualify it is advised that so far as possible riders be engaged in advance advanceThe The committee in charge of the distribution con ¬ sists of Paul 1 Cravatlu Joseph E Davis Thomas Hitchcock and Harry Payne Whitney
