BRACKTOWN BELLE, showing much speed all the way and away well, moved into the lead after going a quarter and easily held LADY MOONET safe in tlie stretch. LADY MOONET was taken back in the first quarter and saved to the stretch, but failed to respond when urged strongly. HORTENSE closed a gap and finished fast and gamely. ROSA MUNDI had a rough race. COLSTON closed a big gap and was gain ing at the end. LOUISE PAUL and MARIA C. quit badly after being forward contenders to the stretch. JIMMIE GILL" ran well and finished gamely.
