- RAL PARRS USEFUL BAND OF MONEY -WINNERS v The Maryland horseman, Ral Parr, annually campaigns a mixed band of jumpers and flat racers and usually fares prosperously with both divisions. Thus in 1010 his principal winner was the fine old jumping mare. The Welkin, and next to her came the useful two-year-olds, Executor and Mater. Fourth in order the jumper, Shannon River, turned something over ,000 into the stables treasury and certainly more than paid his way. The two-year-olds, Mordecai and Robert Oliver, each won considerably in excess of ,000 and it appears that the Parr stable of next year is to be well provided with three-year-olds capable of winning over good opposition. Executor, on some of his performances, being especially promising. Last year the stable won 4,775. This year it made the following decidedly improved record: Horse. Col. and Sex. A.
