DECLARATIONS FROM THE HOPEFUL. New York, December 21. Twenty-two yearlings have been declared from the Hopeful Stakes of the Saratoga Association, an important two-year-old fixture- to be decided next August. The declarations leave J. O. Kouie and George J. Long without any candidates for the prize. James Butler declared seven, but he still lias ten eliglbles, having named seventeen. Johnson N. Camden withdrew three of his ten nominations. Richard T. Wilson, who named seven, has declared three, and Gilford A. Cochran lias declared three or the six that were nominated to bear his silks. Capt. E. B. Cassatt. Frederick Johnson and II. II. Hewitt also declared one each, but they have others to represent them. Those declared by Mr. Butler are: Bay colt by Disguise Fairy Slipper; chestnut colt by Peter Pau Lady Gay; bay lilly by Ben Brush Pink Domino; brown filly by Ultlmus Chancery; chestnut filly by Superman Olivia; chestnut filly by Ballot True-love; bay filly by Ben Brush Runaway Girl. Mr. Camdens declarations are: Bay colt by Oddfellow Kenmore Queen; bay colt by Oddfellow Bay Lamb; bay colt by Peter Quince Berry Maid. Gilford A. Cochran declared the chestnut colt by Prince of Melbourne Bcllainia: chestnut colt by Golden Maxim Housewife, and the bay filly by Sir Wilfred Bettie Bramble. The declarations from the Richard T. Wilson nominations are the bay colt by Yankee Ondurxlis; black filly by Plaudit Sally K., and the bay filly by Peter Pan LAlouette. August Belmont declared the brown colt Fenrock. by Rock Sand Fennant; Capt. E. B. Cassatt the brown filly by Rock Sand Miss Perigord; IT. II. Hewitt the chestnut filly by Cnnard Angerona; Frederick Johnson the bay colt by Golden Maxim Lotowanna; J. O. Keene the bay filly by Ormon-daie Logistilla. and George .1. Long the bay colt by Sir Huori Merry Heart.
