THIRTY LEADING MONEY-WINNING OWNERS OF 1913 . : . 4, Of the thirty leading winning owners of this year H. G. Bedwell, John W. Schorr, Tennessee Stable, II. C. Halienbeck, J. F. and H. S. Newman and It. J. Mackenzie are the only ones winning less this year than in 1912, the most serious falling off being in the stable returns. of J. W. Schorr and H. C. Halienbeck. All of the others gained materially, II. P. Whitneys advance from ,050 last year to the leadership and S55.05G this vear standing out as a change in conditions quite illustrative of the varying fortunes of the turf. With but a few days of the year remaining there is no chance of his being passed and J. L. Holland is about as securely located in second place, but with a bit of luck on his side II. G. Bedwell might depose It. T. Wilson from third place. J. O. Talbotts horses are racing in good form at Charleston and this turfman is secure in fifth place and has had a prosperous year.
