HIGH CLASS, running well in the rough going, followed AL JONES closely and outstayed him in a hard finish and but for sharp interference on the stretch turn would have won by a good margin. AL JONES showed the most speed, but tired in the stretch drive. PEACOCK ran well and lost much ground in the stretch drive by boring out. JE55AIL was gaining fast at the end. CAMEL requires strong riding, but raced forwardly all the way under a weak rider and finished gamely. OLD JORDAN closed a good gap in the stretch drive. BILLIE BAKER was kept well back for the first mile, but came fast when called on and finished gamely. TAY PAY came fast in the stretch. DR. WALDO BRIGGS tired badly after golug a mile and ran poorly.
