STEALAAVAY, showing marvelously improved form, moved up with a rush in the last quarter after making a slow beginning and drew out decisively in the last seventy yards. .MOISANT raced well up from the start aud took the lead in the stretch, but tired near the end. HENOTIO ran well and gained fast in the hist quarter. THEO COOK set the pace to the stretch, but tired badly In the last sixteenth. JUDGE MONCK closed a big gap from a slow beginning. MISS GAYLE, showing high sneed from the start, ran into the lead at once and kept it, but had to be hard ridden through the last eighth to outstay BULGARIAN. The latter suffered from early interference and was forced wide all the way, but finished fast and gamely. HAREBELL also suffered from early interference and was forced wide, but closed a big gap and finished with a rush. The latter ran a good race and made a game finish. PREMIER closed a gap and came fast at the end. PLUVIOUS was away slowly and going fastest of all at the end. SYLVESTRIS was also gaining at the finish. BAT MASTERSON quit after showing early speed and running into a brief lead on the last turn. LINBROOK ran a good race and was gaining steadily through the last eighth. COLONEL ASII-MEADE ran well and probably was best, but suffered from frequent interference and was in the worst going most of the way. .MERRY LAD came fast in the last quarter after closing a big gap.
