NOTES OF THE TURF. Jockey Kirschbaum, whose license was recently revoked, has been ordered away from the Juarez track. Frank Bryan reports that the horsemen are responding liberally to the serial handicaps that have been arranged for the Piping Rock subscription horses. The success of the races for the two-year-olds last year induced the scheduling of these serial handicaps, and only the subscription horses, which are now three-year-olds, are eligible. Under the conditions one entry fee entitles the horse to start in each of these handicaps, and it is proposed to frame at least ten of them during the racing year. These races will he decided at various meetings, and will be run far enough apart to make it possible for an entry to start In each one.
