PLANS FOR RACING IN MONTANA. Hut to. .Mont., February 25. The outlook for racing in Montana this season is bright. It Is probable that : he circuit will consist of thirty days here, begin- niir July 1: fourteen days each at Anaconda. Great : Fills and Deer Ix.dgo: the Montana State Fair meeting of six days at Helena and six days at Missoula ; where a new track is to be built. This will 1 give horsemen a circuit of eighty-four days of cou-Hnuous " racing in this state. It is not unlikely that the Montana State Fair I stakes will bo increased in value. There is talk of : establishing the value of the .Montana Derby, one and one-quarter miles, for all ages, at ,000, and 1 of increasing the values of other stakes proportion- 1The horses that have spent the winter in Montana , 1 have been favored with pleasant climatic conditions. i So fir there has been but one brief spell of cold weather in this locality.
