JAMAICA DATES TO BE TRANSFERRED. New York March 24. Owing to the fact that a portion of the roof of the Jamaica grandstand was seriously damaged in the recent stormy weather it has keen decided that the racing dates awarded to the Metropolitan -Jockey Club will be run off at one of the other courses. This club was awarded racing time from June 15 to June 25, and if it is finally decided not to hed the meetiug at Jamaica the dates mar be divided between other tracks. It is thought that .Aqueduct and Yonkers will be awarded five days each to take up the time. In any event, the program will be carried out as originally auw nounced, whether or; not Jamaica opens Its gates.
