NEW YORK COMMISSION REPORTS. Albany, N. Y., March 27. The State Racing Commission has died its report with the legislature. The report states that the commission feels that last years revival ot racing was more successful than could have been expected under the circumstances. Xo laws were enacted during the year amending the racing law or changing the provisions of the Penal Law In respect to betting. The only court decision rendered timing the year relating to the conducting of race meetings was the affirmance bv the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court ot the" decision by Justice Scudder in the Shane case. In conclusion the report states that the racing commission has no recommendations to make at this-time. The report is signed by James W. Wadsworth; chairman: John Sanford and II. K. Knapp, members of the State Racing Commission.
