S JOCKEY KILLED AT SHREVEP0RT FAIR. A dispatch from Shreveport, La., says: "Frank Pounders, a jockey employed by J. R. Marquette, Jr., of New York, died in the Shreveport sanitarium Sunday of Injuries received at the stale fair races on Thursday when his mount, Ivy 3Iarquette. named after the daughter of his employer, fell and crushed him. Two other horses Tell in the race. hut their Jockeys escaped serious iinjury. Pounders body will be shipped to New York for Interment." : : , i i
