DAM OF POSEIDON DEAD. Subsequent to foaling recently at the ArrowBeld Stud in Australia, the death occurred of Jacinth, which not only attained fame as the dam of that great Australian horse Poseidon, but was ala sponsible for Orcus, which, as a yearling, realhed S15.230, a record lor Australia.
