BLUE THISTLE became a forward contender soon after the start and. after being forced wide when entering the homestretch, finished with a rush and won drawing clear. KEWESSA moved up rapidly while rounding the far turn and raced Into the lead on the last turn, but tired in the final drive. HONEY BEE set the early pace and finished gamely, but tired. WANDA PITZER met with interference and finished fast. BOLALA ran a good race. SHERWOOD and COY quit. The winner, entered for ,000, was bid up to ,505 and bought in. The latter was a distant trailer in xhe early running, but came through on the Inside in the homestretch and, finishing with a rush, barely laKed to win. SARSENET ran well, but tired after disposing of DR. LARRICK. The latter set a fast pace to the stretch and quit badly. BROOM FLOWER was outpaced. The winner was entered for ,500; 110 bid.
