IMPORTANT SHIPMENT TO AUSTRALIA. . The White Star liner Runic, which left Liverpool on Thursday, morning, November 12, for. Australia.; via the Cape,, has" on board, a large number of thprougubreos consigned to Western Australia. Melbourne, .and Sydney: Twenty-two of these were-shipped by Mr. Cliarles Watson, the well-known Augid-Australian bookmaker, and among them are horses consigned to Mr. G. T. Barry, Mr. P. Fox; and Mr. James, hi addition to his own purchases. Included, hi the list are some well-known performers under- Jockey Club Rules; such as the four-year-olds, Cyklon, Aides, and High Rock. Of these Cyklon and Aides were not voluntarily sold by their former owners, respectively the Graditz Stud Prussia and; Baron Springer Austria, who have no Claim even to" the purchase money. A third sequestrated animal is the two-year-old Longobarde, also ; formerly- owned by the Graditz Stud, High Rock, being by Rock Sand out of Hautesse, traces at all points to the English Stud Book, although bred in America, and he was a good winner here; Among the three-year-olds, Greeneap, Kanotlor, and Ikmore are well bred and winners. Greeneap is by-Martagon, whose stock have done so well of late years in Australia, and Donore is by that good stayer and sire of stayers, William the Third. The juveniles " and yearlings are likewise well hred. One of the two-year-olds, Irish Buck, won a race at Newmarket in July, but was disqualified, the entry not having been made by his owner or his authorized agent. In addition to those whose pedigrees are appended, Mr. Watsons shipment included six others. Tlie consignment is under the charge of Mr. James Bullock, father of Frank Bullock, the well-known Australian jockey, assisted by Trecn, an Australian steeplechase jockey of repute, and J. Pen-field, of Newmarket. It is interesting to add that, as well as some twenty-live race horses, the Runic has on Iward Bostock and Wombwells menagerie which disembarks at the Cain;, comprising ele-phants, lions, tigers; wolves, and other animals: Details: High Rock, br. c, 4, by Rock Sand Hautesse.
