, : : STAKE SUCCESSES OF THE LEADING AMERICAN STABLE : - Considerably more than half of the 5,270 in stable winnings that puts John W. Schorr at the head of the money-winning owners of the American .turf this year was earned by the horses of the Schorr establishment In winning stake races. Unlike 1012, when Mr. Schorr lirst gained the distinction of leadership among the money-winning owners of America, the stake successes of the Schorr horses were not confined to the Canadian tracks tnis year. The Kentucky and New York tracks contributed their quota of the stakes that fell to the lot of tin Schorr stab.e, although the most valuable of all, the Dorval Derby, was won in Canada. . ; Of the fifteen stakes that stand to the credit of the stable, Ed Crump won four, Luke McLuke and David Craig three each,-Mars Cassldy and Leochares two each and Edda one.
