J. 0. KEENE SEEKING A STALLION. Cincinnati. 0.. December 13. J. O. Ke.ene, who successfully trained the horses of Senator Johnson N. Camden for four years, and who during that time won over fifteen stakes, including three Breeders" Futurities, was in Cincinnati recently. He severed hh; connection with Senator Camden in order to have a freer hand in breeding operations than ha has ,had. At his farm in Fayette County he has twelve high-class broodmares, seven of which are imported English stud matrons. He is looking about for a good horse to place at the bead of his stud, but prefers an English-bred one. Ho Is also in the market to add a few more mares to his stud and prefers that they be English bred. "If I was able to do so at the present time," be saidj "I would go to Euglaud and buy about thirty high-class yearling nllles. race them in this country and when their racing davs are over retire them to the stud.
