IN WINTER QUARTERS AT LOUISVILLE. Louisville. Ky.. December 12. — There are a good many horses in winter quarters at Churchill Ihnvns. John E. Madden h.is twenty-seven good-looking yearlings there, two of which recently worked three-eighth* in :85 over a track that was not really fast. Albert Simons has twenty-three of H. P. Whitneys string at the track. W. . Clancv has eighteen in training for Corrigan and Mc Kinney, Ieler torne is handling fifteen for C.eorge J. Unig, Lew Marion has six. C. . Van Meter nine. D. Lehan seven and Frank Brown four. Dick Williams is wintering at Douglas Park with a string of twenty-five, and the W. H. Baker establishment at the same place numbers some thirty head.
