Bradley now has a c-oming three year-old safely lodged at Idle Hour Farm from which he may rightfully expect good racing in R»lfi. This is the two-year-old colt Desmonds Day. bv Desmond — Palmy Days. The Desmonds are characteristically extremely fast horses. This one started three times this year in England, but in such huge fields that the winner was bound to be luekv and little can f said for or against him based on his limited racing New York writer who lo. ke-d him over after he was landed from the steamer Mesaha said of him: "Probably the- most valuable of the seven is Mr Bradleys two-year-old bay colt Desmonds Dav. or Desmond out of Palmy Days. In addition to "being royally bred, this is a colt of exceptionally fine individuality. He is ra,tiier large for his age and is well tanned, looking much like a race horse. His markings are rather small and except in good lilit llie-y might pass unnoticed. lie has a small star anil throe white fee-t. two be-fore a;nl oik- behinel is reported that Mr. Bradley paid a liberal price for him. notwithstanding the fact that good thoroughbreds are unusually cheap in England just now."
