EMPIRE CITY TRACK IMPROVEMENTS. New York. December 23. — following tie action of James Butler and h:~ associates of the Empire City Raoing Association in taking i ossession of the Yonk-ers track yesterday, plans for many improvements have lieen made. A la rue force of men will lie put !•. work improving the track itself, while the new Plans call for extensive improvements in the buildings for next year. One of the proposed improvements is mack |K s-sibb- by the pun-base of a valuable strip of property that adjoius the traek at the corner of Central ami Yonkers avenues. This will afford a new entrance to the property, and plans have been drawu far an elaborate new gate, walk and driveway to the stands. With the general renovation of the track. Mr. ! Butler will ship most of his racing stable from his Lastview Farm near Tarrytown to the grounds, whore they will receive their early spring training -for nest year. i
