be M il. ill lg g: s. r- rd dt ri- FIRST ACCIDENT IN TRANSIT FROM EUROPE. New York. December 25. — Another shipment vt foreign thoroughbreds reached New York on the steamship Morrovian Thursday. It was learned that during the voyage a valuable yearling colt h.v Ajax — Media, consigned to P. A. Clark, broke his leg during stormy weather and was destroyed ami buried at sea. He was fully insured. This is the first casualty of the year during the exteusive importation of foreign thoroughbreds.
