] * # V I c J * J : + DISAPPOINTMENTS THAT FELL TO A LEADING KENTUCKY TURFMAN THIS YEAR m Ex-Senator Camden was not blessed with the share of good fortune in racing this year which has generally attended his stable. However, he belongs to the class of men who can afford to view such reverses with equanimity and look forward with assurance to coming years. Marse Henry was probably a grievous disappointment. It was not that he did not ran well, for he did. But there was something in his training before his introduction to racing which led Mr. Camden to think he had a world beater in store. This Marse Henry failed to race up to. Mr. Camden raced a capital filly in One Step and there must be some : isolation in the record that every horse he sent to the post took one or more races. The stable record was: Horse. Col. and Sex. A. Pedigree. 1st. 2d. 3d. Won.
