Both prices were paid in pari-mutuels. In lour more cases better than 100 to 1 straight was paid, and Miss Sherwood paid HI to 1 for place at the Pimlico spring meeting. Long prices are not frequent on the New York tracks and the only case cropping up under the New York system was Rochesters 40 to 1 at Saratoga.
